God’s Extreme Makeover plan
Lessons from NEHEMIAH to show 7- to 13 year olds how to build God’s spiritual house
God gives each person who has been broken by sin an extreme makeover when he or she believes in his Son, Jesus. He then calls us to share his makeover plan with the whole world, in this way building his kingdom, his spiritual home on earth. God helps us by giving us spiritual tools with which we can make his plans happen. We learn from Nehemiah the importance of prayer, team work and God’s Word. Bob, the Extreme Makeover builder, will be at each session.

One day when I’m grown up
We dream about one day yesterday, think about yesterday, but today we DO!
Children often dream about what they want to be one day. Children also love stories about long ago. In these lessons children will dream about becoming a nature conservationist and meet Adam; a builder and meet Nehemiah; a lion tamer and meet Daniel. They will get to know various characters from long ago, learn from their mistakes and be inspired by their lives. That brings us to the most important of days: TODAY.
Do you know Jesus?
Is He your Lord, your Hero, your King?
The narratives will open windows concerning who Jesus is, what He came to do, what He said, and how He touched lives while He walked on earth; and how He can do so today. Hopefully the children will also be inspired to learn more about Jesus for the rest of their lives. At a deeper level we ask ourselves: “Do you know Jesus?” By this we mean: Do you have a personal relationship with Him? Is He your Lord, your Hero your King?

- The colours tell a story
A series in which colour is used to help pre-school children to understand the gospel.
Through this book our children have grown in knowing God and how the Bible teaches us how to live our lives. They learnt about how special they are to God and how to talk to God. The songs, rhymes, activities and games in the book helped them to grow in various skills and have improved their language.
The fact that the book is available in Xhosa is very good. Adults who do not understand English can now teach Xhosa speaking learners at school, in our churches and in groups in our communities about the importance of the Word of God.”
